I’ve always considered myself a very happy person and what fulfills me and makes me happy the most is that I’ve met a lot of people who decided to follow my dream with no hesitation. The idea for a humanitarian chocolate auction never would have become a reality if there hadn’t been for my family, my old and my newly acquired friends, to which I simply cannot express my gratitude, and of course, the donors whose unreserved support greatly contributed for the realization of this project.

This project never would have become a reality without you.  We all differ on the outside, but what really matters is what we have in our hearts, and they don’t differ in size… as far as I understand medicine! You have really opened your hearts and helped us raise 300.000 denars in just a couple of hours. I thank you all for your honest support.

I often quote one of my dear friends who says: The children are our life investment. That’s why this project is dedicated to them, because we should provide them a happy childhood, a good education and appropriate treatment conditions. An expensive investment indeed, I’m sure you will agree with me, maybe even one of the most expensive ones. But I do, however, believe that this investment is also one of the most profitable ones too, because no money in this world can buy an honest smile, a hug, a kiss and respect from a child.

On 29 December, at the “Institute for Lung Diseases in Children - Kozle”, the Citizen’s association “POZITIVO” held a press conference where they officially presented all of the donated assets provided by the project “Chocolate auction”.

With the gathered assets from the “Chocolate auction”, the following items were provided:

1. Computerized spirometry device– the company “SONIX” from Skopje, with its unreserved support, provided a certain discount and free service and technical support for couple of years.
2. One computer – from the company “Rudarski Institut” Skopje
3. 2 devices for hands disinfection – with the support of the pharmaceutical house “ГЕОПРОМ” which provided a certain discount and decided to supply the hospital with disinfection products in the future.
4. 150 quilts which were specially made for us by “ВИНКА НЕТ” from Vinica, a company that also provided a special discount for purchasing these quilts
5. Equipment and reparation materials for toilets and sinks at the department D3 – again with the help and unreserved support from the company that provided the materials, “ЕЛПРОМ” from Skopje, which offered special prices for realizing the whole part of the project associated with the toilets and sinks.

Furthermore, the following companies took part with direct donations, each of them in their own way:

1. The service centre “ВИДЕО ДАТА” donated a TV, DVD and a refrigerator to fully equip one of the rooms at the department D3.
2. The well known furniture store “КАЗА ИТАЛИЈА” donated two wonderful chairs, one for children and one for the mother of the children that will be staying in the same room at the department D3.
3. “ДЕЛФИНО Травел”, the agency that represents “МАЛЕВ Hungarian Airlines” in Macedonia, Serbia, Monte Negro, Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia, as well as “SIXT  rent a car” in our country, donated two professional hygiene carts with all of the necessary accessories.
4. “КОЛА”, “Унилевер” distributers, donated hygiene products Domestos and Hagis diapers required for the patients that cannot afford them and are being treated at the hospital.
5. The family Simoski donated 20 sets of bedclothes for children required for the youngest patients for the second time.
6. “ЛЕК”, the well-known pharmaceutical house, despite the unreserved support during the organization of the auction, donated wonderful radios for the patient’s rooms.
7. Next year, another well-known company, hygiene products manufacturer, will donate certain assets for the hospital four times a year.

“MILKA” with its unique, recognized and delicious white chocolate, “NESTLE” with its original and attractive 200gr. Milk chocolate, “КЛУБ МАТИЦА” with 100 beautiful colorful books and picture-books, and “ГЕОПРОМ” which also donated 100 sets of shampoos from the best children collection Bubchen and a few vitamin mixtures “Dr. LEO”, made it possible for us to bring joy to all of the children in the hospital with presents for Christmas – WE THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!

The children gave their efforts to take part in this humanitarian auction too, and so, the children from the kindergarten “ТИП ТОП” presented their own drawings in order to bring more color into the rooms at the department D3.

We’ve also organized a small pre-New year’s eve party with a magician as a host, and our pop diva Kaliopi as a guest for the hospitalized children at the Institute.
